因應21世紀數位科技與網路傳播的趨勢，本院聚焦於「環境空間規劃」與「數位內容產業」（涵蓋數位傳播、文化創意、視覺設計及數位學習）之整合發展。 本院教育目標為：
培育跨域整合人才： 結合美學、科技與環境永續思維，培養全方位之專業設計人才。
拓展國際視野： 鏈接全球設計趨勢，培育具備國際觀的未來產業領袖。
強化數位應用： 提升學生在數位媒體與空間模擬技術上的實務應用能力。
Educational Objectives
In response to the 21st-century trends in digital technology and network communication, the College focuses on the integrated development of "Environmental Space Planning" and the "Digital Content Industry" (including digital communication, cultural creativity, visual design, and e-learning). Our objectives are:
Cultivating Interdisciplinary Talent: To foster comprehensive design professionals by integrating aesthetics, technology, and environmental sustainability thinking.
Expanding Global Perspective: To align with global design trends and nurture future industry leaders with an international outlook.
Strengthening Digital Application: To enhance students' practical capabilities in digital media and spatial simulation technologies.

為落實全方位專業人才培育，本院擬定以下發展策略：
課程學程化與跨域學習： 規劃院級共同必修與跨系學程，協助學生擴展學習領域，厚植科技與設計專業基礎。
資源整合與環境優化： 倡導教學空間、實驗儀器與設備之共享機制，有效整合院內資源，支援各系所發展特色，提供師生優質的教研環境。
跨界研發與產學服務： 推動教師跨系所合作，建立教學研究服務團隊；進而成立專業研發中心，結合實驗室尖端設備與校級研發處資源，拓展產業服務層面，深化產學合作效益。
College Development Strategies To implement comprehensive talent cultivation, the College has formulated the following development strategies:
Curriculum Integration & Interdisciplinary Learning: Planning college-wide core courses and cross-departmental programs to help students expand their learning horizons and solidify their foundation in technology and design.
Resource Integration & Environment Optimization: Promoting the sharing mechanism of teaching spaces, experimental instruments, and equipment to effectively integrate college resources, support the unique development of each department, and provide a high-quality environment for teaching and research.
Cross-Disciplinary R&D & Industry Service: Promoting cross-departmental collaboration among faculty to establish specialized teams for teaching, research, and service. Furthermore, we aim to establish professional R&D centers that leverage cutting-edge laboratory equipment and university-level resources to expand industry services and deepen industry-academia cooperation.

The College of Planning and Design integrates diverse fields, including Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, and Digital Film & Visual Communication, constructing a comprehensive educational system spanning from physical space planning to virtual simulation. Through our six departments and advanced research centers, we are dedicated to cultivating professionals equipped with concepts of low-carbon sustainability, expertise in smart technology applications, and cross-disciplinary practical skills.

We aspire for our students to possess the ability to proactively identify and solve problems, practice professional ethics and social responsibility through teamwork, and become future designers with a global perspective and competitive edge.
